Cabrera Fiesta is held every year in June in honour of San Pedro and Peter Grosscurth founder of modern Cabrera. Plans are under way for this year’s fiesta which will be held on Saturday 5th June, for which numerous events have been planned to raise funds.
At last year’s fiesta there were numerous attractions including, helicopter rides over Sierra Cabrera Mountains, Stilt walkers, jugglers, splat the rat, stalls, music, flamenco dancers, crazy golf stall, DJ, live bands were we danced until the early morning.
Turre Fiesta is held in the first week October of each year over approx. 3 – 4 days. Normally starting on the Thursday and runs until the Sunday which is Saints Day.
The fiesta is held in honour of San Francisco de Asís (Saint Francis of Assisi).
Dancing every night, competitions, dancers, live Spanish bands, and a spectacular fire work display which lasts about 30 minutes. Large fair ground for all to enjoy.
